I was excited to join in on the group World Peace Meditation Wednesday night which is organized by the International Center for Reiki Training. It was my first time. The experience is focused around World Peace Cards which The Center provides as a free download. I downloaded mine beforehand in preparation for the event (grab yours here. ) Everyone is welcome to download the cards and join in the meditations! The meditation takes place once a month at 7:30pm based on local time in your timezone. The suggested meditation period is 15 minutes but of course you can meditate longer.
You do not have to be a Reiki student or Reiki Master to participate in these peace meditations. What’s most important is that you have a desire to raise the consciousness of the planet and serve as a beacon of peace and love toward uplifting all people of the world. If you are a Reiki practioner, then you are invited to flow your Reiki healing energy in the meditation.
These Meditations Access Crystal Grid Energies….. Say What??!
William Lee Rand, the man behind the Reiki World Peace Project and the International Center for Reiki, was able to place World Peace Crystal Grids at the North Pole (1997) and the South Pole (1999) and Jerusalem (2004.) These expeditions were a dream come true for him. The fourth grid was placed at a Reiki Center in Michigan (2005) and the fifth at a Reiki Center in Maui (2009.) The design of the peace grids allows Reiki to be sent from Reiki practitioners to the grids from all over the world and then stored like a battery for the purpose of promoting peace on earth. The Reiki energy radiating out from the grids is carried by the magnetic field around the planet to heal and balance the earth’s aura. Those willing to work toward world healing and peace can access the reservoir of healing energy held by these grids.
My Experience during the World Peace Meditation
The strength of the group Reiki energy was palpable when I aligned with the World Peace Meditation. It should be no surprise as I was energetically joining thousands of people all over the world with the same intention. During the allotted meditation time, I placed the peace cards on my legs as I sat in my meditation chair and I drew the Reiki distance symbol in my mind as I enjoyed my meditation. I could feel a very strong energy charge from the cards and my hands heated up as if I was giving a Reiki treatment. I could feel I was enveloped in a larger force of energy and I loved it. I found the experience to be very powerful and alignment with the crystal grids fascinating. I will be joining in again for sure!
